SRL FINALLY HAS A FUNDRAISER AND EVENTS/OUTREACH COORDINATOR.
SRL welcomes Mrs. Lynn Cook as the newest member of the team. While God has blessed SRL with tremendous success on the mission field, the administrative team has been in dire need of a methodical fundraising department that will enable SRL to set a budget that will properly meet the ever-increasing demands of a growing organization. We rejoice that God has sent us Mrs. Cook, who will labor to connect SRL with more ministry partners. She arrives with a vibrant desire to honor God by asking His children for help with the expansion of His kingdom through this mission. Kindly pray that her efforts will bear much fruit for SRL’s critical role in bringing the Reformation to Latin America. After witnessing the success and potential of SRL in Medellin, Lynn also saw the financial needs of SRL and wanted to do something about it. She wrote, “I love missions! Years ago, I served Afghan refugees in Pakistan for two years. Now that I am retired, I had the privilege of attending the 2021 SRL Seminary graduation in Medellín. Before even leaving the country, I asked how I might assist the ministry of SRL. It is my joy to serve as the Events and Outreach Coordinator.”
SRL GOES TO THE JUNGLE AND REMOTE PLACES IN EL SALVADOR AND HONDURAS TO TRAIN NATIONALS. THE REFORMATION IS ALIVE!
Pastor Isaias Martinez, the Central American SRL site coordinator, has traveled extensively to promote education for pastors; many of them have not completed high school. After going from city to city, he wanted to include remote places, trekking by foot, horse, trucks, canoes, and a Cessna plane. Nothing stops his fire for Jesus and His gospel.
SRL SUCCESFULLY OPENS A SITE IN ARGENTINA.
Pastor Castiblanco, SRL Academic Director, became the SRL Ambassador to Argentina. SRL opened with 50 students who attended the first course. SRL rented classroom space in a university with the right to use the large conference room. God willing, we will hold the first Reformation Convention there in Argentina in November. A university? God opened big gospel opportunity doors!
SRL PANAMA GRADUATE BRINGS THE REFORMATION TO DARIEN JUNGLE GUNA TRIBE.
Remibelio Matos, an SRL graduate, came from the Guna tribe.
He went back to bring the gospel to his native Madugandí. These photos show one large tribe’s church and new reformers taking the gospel by canoe to that region.
Educating nationals, who, in turn, teach others, became the key to Latin America’s massive spreading of the Reformation. Pastor Andy DeLacruz sent this student to SRL. Thank you!
SRL needs financial help. May we ask, because of your love for Jesus and His gospel, for a sacrificial donation this month? We apologize that we have been ashamed to ask you directly due to pride—please forgive us. And so, here it is: We need $120,000 to pay off the mortgage of the building in Medellín. Our SRL focus verses remain:
“I am not ashamed of the gospel.” Rom.1:16, and “Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel.” 1 Cor. 9:16b
Sincerely in Christ,
