THE TWENTY-SECOND ANNUAL SRL BANQUET IS HERE – 9/23/2021, AT 7 PM
We thank God for the many friends and supporters who are participating in the celebration of God’s blessings upon this mission during the years 2020-2021. We only have space to mention the blessings below.
The largest audience for the series of Reformed Theological Lectures to Latin America. Over two million people inquired at the many SRL media links.
The largest number of students ever in 16 sites and the greatest number of students on the virtual program from many parts of the world, besides Latin America.
Latin America, in the midst of the pandemic and from what they did not have, contributed with more than $30,000.00 to SRL. This is a gigantic contribution, considering that, in some countries, the salaries are only $15.00 per month. They greatly appreciate the work that God is doing through SRL.
The largest number of renowned theologians, authors, pastors, and professors gathered to support SRL with lectures and teaching by traveling to some countries and by Zoom.
The largest convention in the history of the Latin American Reformation is taking place from October 18th to 23rd. Thousands worldwide have registered to listen—in both English and Spanish channels—to 18 famous speakers from America, Europe, and Africa.
Thanks to Trinitarian Bible Society, Ligonier Ministries, and Chapel Library, the largest distribution of Bibles in Spanish and Reformed literature took place within these two years with the help of SRL.
SRL moved into Mexico and all the Central American countries, reaching students and pastors who are embracing the Doctrines of Grace.
Last week in Medellín, forty Reformed pastors gathered at the SRL Seminary to listen to a Ligonier representative. Medellín only had one Reformed pastor when SRL arrived. There are now 40 Reformed pastors from the Medellín area! This is something that brings us to our knees and to sing doxology!
SRL is purchasing a campus in Houston that is able to house 100 students. This will enable SRL to accommodate Spanish-speaking students from every state and from Latin American countries and Spain. We pray that God will bring the Reformation to the Spanish-speaking churches in North America.
We will celebrate the largest number, ever, of the planting or transformation of Reformed churches in all Latin America where the pastors are SRL graduates.
God used SRL to assist in launching Corporación Adonai Vida y Dignidad (CAVD), a prolife center in Medellín that is saving the lives of the most vulnerable.
To complete the joy, Astronaut Barry Wilmore, a strong Reformed Christian, will take the SRL logo into space! Captain Wilmore will deliver a message at this year’s Banquet, enabling us to experience the beauty of God’s cosmos declaring His majestic glory.
