SRL GRADUATE IS SENT AS MISSIONARY TO GUADALAJARA MEXICO
Next month Jeremias Gonzalez, a 2015 graduate from SRL will be sent, by Gracia de Dios Church in Medellin, to Guadalajara, Mexico to serve as a reformed minister of the gospel at Gosen Reformed Church, which was planted in cooperation with Gracia de Dios Church from Medellin. Jeremias, a new SRL missionary will preach, serve the church and also will serve as the coordinator of the new branch of the SRL Seminary in Guadalajara. Please pray for God’s blessings upon Jeremias and his wife Laura as this missionary begins to put into practice his SRL training by teaching others, in their own language, what he learned. (2 Tim. 2:2) This is the third SRL Colombian graduate to serve as pastor or missionary in other countries. Glory to God.
PROFESSORS AND STUDENTS REPORTS FROM THE FIELD
Pastor Gary Carter, center, taught Christology in Cuba. He wrote, “The greatest impact on me was the hungry, eager, spiritual-mindedness of the students and the privilege to see God at work in training pastors to strengthen and plant churches. They want the truth, The Word. I believe that contributors cannot find a better place to invest in The Kingdom than SRL.” The students reported that the professor’s sweetness and love for Christ was contagious. He made them taste the exquisite riches of the Bread of Life and the Only Way. They want Pastor Carter back in Cuba.
From SRL in Bucaramanga, Dr. Kistler reported that these forty students were the most enjoyable. The students reported that the teaching of Dr. Kistler regarding the Doctrine of God was an excellent course. They heard that Dr. Kistler was a distinguished theologian and a great professor. His teaching in Bucaramanga confirmed that rumor.
SRL NEEDS TO PAY OFF $230,000 MORTGAGE FOR THIS BUILDING IN MEDELLIN
Please pray that God will send the funds, this year, to pay off this building which is the anchor and the headquarters of operations for the entire continent. If this building is paid off, it would free SRL to care for hundreds of students who are waiting to receive this kind of high quality personal theological training with professors who are present and with whom they can interact. SRL is providing education to about 600 students per year. Besides the regular courses, SRL gives opportunities to thousands to hear the Doctrines of Grace through many Theological Conferences and Conventions. The next Bilingual (Eng.& Sp.)
